About FindAngel

Find Angel Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We create free, open ways for people to help each other by sharing practical, real-world experience.

Guided by the Three Laws of Find Angel, we run only for charitable, educational, religious, literary, and scientific purposes. FindAngel was founded in 2003 by Dax, who set out to inspire and help people help one another, and who has given much of his own time and resources to that mission — even through the hardest stretches of his life. We couldn’t do much without our Angel Volunteers, and we believe that people who care, working together, can make this world better.

We focus on nonprofit and philanthropic goals, and on social well-being, to serve the common good.

We share knowledge, skills, and experiences that shape, for the better, how a person thinks, feels, or acts.

We support science, engineering, and innovation for the benefit of all life on earth.

Religious

We foster understanding of, and respect for, the beliefs people choose for themselves.

Literary

We promote writing that builds positive experience and sharper thinking.

What we are — and what we are not

We’re a library of shared practical experience, an information-and-referral directory that points to real-world help, a listening companion (Angel), and a few self-guided tools. Some of our volunteers answer crisis lines, and that experience shapes how we write — but this site is not a crisis line, and not a healthcare or counseling provider.
