After a disaster you can apply for federal help, update your application or check its status on their site, or call the helpline with questions about your application or eligibility.

If you need emergency help, call 9-1-1 first. On the phone you press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish or 3 for other languages. You can also visit a Disaster Recovery Center.
