Before you call

Have ready

  • your state: pick it from the map or the drop-down menu

They can

  • point you to the Parent Center that works with families of children with disabilities in your state

They cannot

  • act as a helpline: the page is a list of centers
  • give legal advice: the centers help and train parents, and are not a legal service

We list this organization because people told us it helped. We’re not affiliated with it, and we don’t speak for it. Last checked October 10, 2026: we opened its own site and confirmed this link and number. We don’t call the lines, and hours can change — their site has the latest.
