Age UK Advice Line

If you are older, or you are looking after someone who is, you can call for information and advice. There are also specialist advisers at local Age UKs.

Good to know

The Advice Line is free to call, and free interpreted calls are available. If it is a medical emergency or you need urgent health support, call 999 or NHS 111. Age UK has separate partners in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

We list this organization because it is a national service for the need on this page. We’re not affiliated with it, and we don’t speak for it. Last checked October 3, 2026: we opened its own site and confirmed this link and number. We don’t call the lines, and hours can change — their site has the latest.

Heavy moment? Call Samaritans on 116 123 — or we’re here.
