NHS 111 (England)

If you need medical help right now and it is not a life-threatening emergency, 111 can tell you where to get help. You can answer questions online or call.

Good to know

Call 111 if the person is under 5 years old. If you cannot hear or speak, use text relay on 18001 111, and you can ask for an interpreter on a call. If it could be life-threatening, call 999. In Scotland and Wales, NHS 24 and NHS 111 Wales run the local services.

We list this organization because it is a national service for the need on this page. We’re not affiliated with it, and we don’t speak for it. Last checked October 3, 2026: we opened its own site and confirmed this link and number. We don’t call the lines, and hours can change — their site has the latest.

Heavy moment? Call Samaritans on 116 123 — or we’re here.
