  • a photocopy or photo of the lost passport, if you have one: GOV.UK says it helps you answer the questions

They can

  • help you cancel a lost or stolen passport
  • talk to you about urgent travel if you need medical treatment, a friend or family member is seriously ill or has died, or you work for or represent the government

They cannot

  • answer questions about visas or immigration: that is UK Visas and Immigration
