State workers' compensation offices (U.S. Department of Labor list)

A Department of Labor page that lists every state's and territory's workers' compensation office, with its address, phone number and website. If you work for a private company or a state or local government, your claim goes to the state where you lived or worked.

Good to know

The Department of Labor does not run or oversee state programs. Federal employees, dock and harbor workers, coal miners with black lung and Department of Energy nuclear-weapons workers use Department of Labor programs instead.

Before you call

Have ready

  • the state where you live and the state where you work

They can

  • give you your state office's address, phone number and website

They cannot

  • file a claim or give advice: your state office does that
