VA help to avoid foreclosure (VA loan technicians)

If you are a Veteran or the surviving spouse of a Veteran, VA gives counseling to help you avoid foreclosure, even if your loan is not a VA-guaranteed loan. A VA loan technician can help you figure out which option is best for you.

Good to know

Select 6 when you call. If you have a VA-guaranteed loan that is 61 days past due, VA says it automatically assigns a VA loan technician to review your loan. VA also says to contact your loan servicer right away, and to contact VA or your servicer to get help avoiding scams.
