Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (complaints)
If a bank, lender, debt collector or credit reporting company is treating you badly, you can file a complaint online or by phone and they send it to the company for a response.
Good to know
Their page says most companies respond within 15 days. You generally can't file a second complaint about the same problem, so put the key dates, amounts and documents in the first one. TTY/TDD users can call (855) 729-2372.
