Confidence follows competence
One small thing you could do
Name the area rather than the feeling — not “I want to be confident” but “I want to be confident presenting to my team.” Then do ten minutes of the least glamorous practice that area contains: the slide read aloud, the scale, the one email drafted twice. Competence is built in units this size.
The trial lawyers I worked with looked like geniuses in that courtroom. What I saw was the months behind it — ten-hour days, every brief checked four times, arguments rehearsed and binned and rehearsed.
